Renault Truck Race In Dakar Series 24/04/2008
The Dakar Series race is furiously underway in Central Europe. Since April 24th, 40 trucks and 2 race assistance Renault Keraxes trucks have been racing along tracks for the first Dakar Series race in Romania and Hungary. Part of the track takes place on a more technical orientated part that is shorter and narrower on forest trails under muddy, snowy conditions. The race was quite a sight for spectators coming to watch close-up trucks and Renault trucks negotiate narrow, muddy forest trails. Iveco Trucks At China Autoshow 2008 21/04/2008
Iveco trucks presented themselves at the Auto China 2008 show in Beijing in April showing support for their Chinese business partners SAIC, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation. The yearly event is one of the largest automobile trade shows in China and ended in Beijing on 28 April. Iveco trucks unveiled there vehicles and partnerships with a 2,800 m2 stand that it shared with its partner. The display highlighted the colors of the local joint partnerships, Naveco and SIH (SAIC Iveco Hongyan) with a large red tattoo. Us Company Invests In Mercedes Benz Trucks 03/04/2008
US industrial gas specialists Air Products have placed a 6 million pound order with Mercedes-Benz that is considered a landmark order for Mercedes Benz trucks. The company Air Products have invested in some of the most highly specialized tractor units from Mercedes Benz trucks. The 64 new Actros trucks will be wearing the colors of the US company but will be kept in use in the UK by the companies chain partner Wincanton. The Mercedes Benz trucks will be replacing the ERF fleet that Air Products used to distribute their goods in Britain.
